PRESCHOOL
The NCCS preschool is a fully integrated activity-based program for 3-5 year olds, designed to support the whole child socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically, and intellectually. Because our curriculum is diverse and comprehensive, children are able to study different things throughout the year based on seasons, holidays, teacher's ideas, children and family ideas, and classroom discussions. All preschool curriculum is immersed in Bible-based Christian principles, where children learn about God's truth and the forgiveness of sin through Jesus. This is done through daily Bible stories, praise songs, memorizing scripture and learning to say prayers.
Under the guidance of highly qualified teachers, our preschool children participate in developmentally rich learning activities, working and playing with educational toys and manipulatives, and engaging in instructional activities that promote academic growth and spiritual development. Play is a child's work and our classroom is intentionally arranged so that the environment serves as a third teacher. All types of learning styles and academic goals are incorporated together so that individual needs are met for each child.
We offer a 2, 3 or 5 day morning preschool program. Our half-day program runs from 8-11:30 a.m. and provides an engaging learning environment for 3-5 year olds. Children must be potty proficient and at least 3-years-old before the start of school.
