HOME OF THE SAINTS!
Athletic programs at North Clackamas Christian School are an integral part of the well-rounded education provided to all of our students. Participating in organized athletics provides an important component to the experience students have in school and promotes good health, positive self-esteem and the ability to learn to work with others in a team environment.
Just as with our academics, NCCS athletic programs emphasize faith, character and self-discipline. As such, our athletes are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and strive to reflect spiritual maturity and witness while competing against other schools. At NCCS, we hold students to a high standard of character and believe that school sports are an important way to bring out the best in each student.
At NCCS we offer a full menu of competitive sports for students in grades 5-12. Our high school athletes compete in the OSAA 1A classification in volleyball, soccer and boys' and girls' cross country in the fall; boys' and girls' basketball in the winter; and in the spring, baseball and boys' and girls' track and field.
Students in grades 5-6, are offered both boys' and girls' basketball and girls' volleyball. Sixth grade students may also participate for our junior high track team and at times for our junior high soccer team if numbers are needed to fill a team. That determination is made each spring and communicated to incoming 6th grade families. All students must meet current eligibility standards to participate in sports.
